Recommended Dilution Ratios by Application Method
Always verify with the coating manufacturer's technical sheet. Standard dilution guidelines for RXSOL Paint Thinner:
- Conventional Air Spray Gun: Add 15% to 25% by volume. Recommended viscosity: 18 to 22 seconds using a Ford Cup No. 4 at 25°C.
- Airless Spray Equipment: Add 5% to 10% by volume. Minimizes overspray while ensuring fluid flow through high-pressure spray tips.
- Brush & Roller Application: Add 5% to 10% by volume for smooth wet-edge flow and drag reduction on large surface areas.
- Dip Tanks & Flow Coaters: Add 20% to 30% by volume to maintain continuous bath fluid dynamic viscosity and prevent skinning.
